Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) to purchase?

Yes, Our MOQ is 1x20ft container, you can give us one single material order or the mixed stone order.

But in case of :

  • Flexible stone veneer sheets: We accept LCLs & Air shipments. (at least 186.05 sqm / 2000 square feet = 1 wooden crate)
  • 3D Peel & Stick Flexible panels: we accept LCLs & Air shipments. (at least 72 sqm / 775 square feet = 1 wooden crate)
  • Thin stone veneer: we accept LCLs & Air shipments. (at least 19.50 sqm / 210 square feet = 1 wooden crate)
  • Ledger Panels: we accept LCLs & Air shipments. (at least 17.28 sqm / 186 square feet = 1 wooden crate)

How long does the shipping of products take?

Every order is unique so the despatch and shipping schedule will be based upon the quantity, size specifications, & stone colour. But usually our despatch schedule goes like this:

For example:

One container order (around 5000 square feet i.e. 465 square meters)

  • Production time – 25-28 days (as you know other orders also runs)
  • Quality inspection and Packing time – 3 days maximum
  • Inland trucking time (from our factory to the load port) – around 2 days maximum
  • Customs clearance time at the load port – 5 days at least
  • Shipped on Boarding time – 1 day at least
  • Sea ship sailing time – depends upon the proximity like for USA east coast around 28 days
  • S7)o, in all you can assume 60 days to reach the material at your end.

How do you do the natural stone packing while exporting to other countries?

We take utmost care for our natural stone products, our aim is to transport the stones on “as is where is” and in “perfect condition”. At Indian Natural Stones company, every stone piece (like tiles or slabs) is packed in such a way that meet the safety standards and the weight norms conforming to the EU or USA destination.

  • Stone paving or stone slabs are completely dry before they are packed in wooden crates.
  • Stone tiles and stone slabs are bunched together and tightly packed in wooden crates of best quality wood or pine wood as per instructions from the buyer.
  • Wooden crates are properly checked regarding weight.
  • Based on the loading plan, the packed wooden crates are loaded into the container and lashing is done to secure it firmly.
  • Finally, the container is fumigated as per ISPM-15 standards to prevent the growth of mould.
  • Besides…customized packing is also available.

What is the difference between 56 series and 60 series?

Please remember in both the series the stone quality & stone appearance will be same, the only difference will be in the sizes:

60 series covers 4 sizes: 60x90, 60x60, 60x29, 29x29 cm

56 series covers 4 sizes: 56x84, 56x56, 56x28, 28x28 cm

The above series mainly in demand in the UK, Australia, South Korea and Ireland markets. But we can supply you any single size of your choice.

How much area does a sandstone, slate, limestone patio pack cover?

As we know there are 2 series in demand amongst the customers.

60 series’ 4 sizes patio pack will cover 18.19 square meters of your area

  • 60x90 – 16 pieces / crate i.e. 8.64 sqm.
  • 60x60 – 16 pieces / crate i.e. 5.76 sqm.
  • 60x29 – 16 pieces / crate i.e. 2.784 sqm.
  • 29x29 – 12 pieces / crate i.e. 1.0092 sqm.

In above ratio of 16-16-16-12 each crate will carry around 950 Kgs. with 22 mm calibrated thickness.

 

56 series’ 4 sizes patio pack will cover 17.79 square meters of your area

  • 56x84 – 18 pieces / crate i.e. 8.4672 sqm.
  • 56x56 – 18 pieces / crate i.e. 5.6448 sqm.
  • 56x28 – 18 pieces / crate i.e. 2.8224 sqm.
  • 28x28 – 11 pieces / crate i.e. 0.8624 sqm.

In above ratio of 18-18-18-11 each crate will carry around 850 Kgs. with 22 mm calibrated thickness.

The most demanding patio pack ratios in both the series are as under:

56 series: 18-18-18-11, 12-12-12-13 When laid using a 10-20mm joint each pack contains enough paving slabs to cover.

Our proforma invoice will specify all the order details clearly including the quality statement.

Our production department produces the order strictly according to the proforma invoice quality statement/ agreement. Our quality checkers check the stones piece by piece carefully and submit an inspection report to the “quality head” to ensure everything is ok before shipment.

  • Our quality checkers are well qualified professionals at our stone factory who are well-managed, well-equipped with rich experience.
  • Quality checkers follow each order whether big or small from beginning till the end of whole production process, to ensure quality standards and on-time delivery.

What certifications do you have?

How do you prevent or take precautions for the stone product from breakage during the transit?

Firstly, please be noted that our packing staff is specialized in making various wooden creates or bundles for various sizes and thickness of the stone material. We do container stuffing at factory and at the CSF at the load port.

CFS Stuffing at load port: one of our key packing loading staff has been deputed at both the ports (Mundra and Chennai) for each shipment, he looks after the container stuffing. Zero tolerance is 100% assured for the best packaging. You will get photos while the crate / pallet packaging, then photos for the packed crates / pallets and then photos while taken at the time of container loadingand photos to make sure that all crates or bundles are loaded into the container in good conditions and final photos videos while doing the fumigation formalities.

Please also note that the stone products are always packed with fumigated strong wooden crates and foam sheets inside. And customized packing is also available.

What are the different types of natural stones you produce and export?

There are many different types of natural stones. Indian natural stones are classified based on their composition, formation, and appearance. Please note the below natural stones from India:

  • Slate stone from India: It’s a fine-grained metamorphic rock that can splits easily into flat layers. Best suitable for roofing, flooring, and wall cladding. Available as green slate, black slate, multicolour slate, rustic slate from India.
  • Sandstone from India: It’s sedimentary rock composed mostly of sand-sized minerals. Best suitable for paving, building stone, and landscaping. Rainbow sandstone, teak sandstone, kandla grey sandstone, autumn brown sandstone, agara red sandstone, beige sandstone, mint sandstone from India are the best examples.
  • Schist stone from India: It's a foliated metamorphic rock that forms from the alteration of shale or mudstone. It contains a significant amount of mica, which gives it a shiny or sparkly appearance. The best example is Ocean Black Schist from India, also known as ocean black slate from India.   • Phyllite stone from India: It's a fine-grained, foliated metamorphic rock that forms from the alteration of shale or mudstone. What are the different types of surface finishes that you manufacturing and exporting?

We are supplying almost all surface finishes for the international market like:

  • Natural Cleft: Commonly found in slate, sandstone, limestone etc. In this case the bottom side of the tile is usually calibrated or sawn for easier installation.
  • Rock Face: This finish involves splitting the stone to mimic the look of exposed rock, giving it a rough, natural appearance while maintaining uniform dimensions, commonly found in basalt, porphyry, granite (small sizes), slate, sandstone etc.
  • Honed: This finish is smooth but not glossy. It has a matte or semi-polished sort of look, provides a subtle, non-reflective surface, commonly found in sandstone, slate stone, granites etc.
  • Polished: This finish gives shiny and reflective look to the stone surface, giving the stone a smooth, glossy appearance.   • Brushed: The surface is brushed with a wired abrasive brush to give a gentle, weathered texture.

  • Sandblasted: The stone is blasted with sand, creating a fine, even texture that’s slightly rough but not overly coarse.
  • Bush Hammered: The stone is hammered with a tool to create a coarse, rough surface with deep, uniform indentations. Commonly found in the Indian basalt.
  • Tumbled: Stone is tumbled in a machine called tumbler, which rounds the edges and creates a worn, antique look.
  • Flamed: The stone surface is heated to high temperatures by using a flame torch. This process creates a rugged, uneven texture with a rough feel. Commonly found in the granites, basalt, limestone and sandstones. It's ideal for areas that need to be slip-resistant, like pool decks, walkways, or driveways, outdoor walls or facades, Stairs and Slopes. flamed surface provides good grip and traction to the walker.
  • Hydro: The water blast or hydro finish on stone is a finishing technique that uses high-pressure water jets to clean, texture, and shape the surface of the stone. In this process the stone doesn’t change its natural color.
  • Lapatro: A lapatro finish (sometimes called lapatto finish) is a specific type of stone finish that is known for its smooth yet slightly reflective surface, offering a semi-gloss appearance. It is achieved through a polishing process that gives the stone a subtle sheen without the high shine of a fully polished finish. In market some specific lapatro abrasives are available by which we can achieve this finish.
  • Antique: In this surface the flamed + brushing is applied then we get the antiqued finish stone.
